MODI-SHOWER IN DESERT STATE TODAY!

Boosting the tempo regarding the Rajasthan Assembly polls, which are round the corner, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will once again visit Rajasthan; second time in eight days, to rally the political momentum in his party’s favour in the desert State. While the PM landed in Jaipur during his last visit to Rajasthan, this time he will be visiting the Chittorgarh area, the parliamentary constituency of BJP Rajasthan State President CP Joshi, to target the voters of the MewarVagad region, which sends 28 legislators in the Rajasthan Assembly.

BJP is trying to overthrow the Congress government in Rajasthan and form its own government. The meeting will be held on the day of Gandhi Jayanti, in the famous Sanwaliya Seth temple area of Chittorgarh district. In such a situation, many political implications of this meeting are also being seen. This region has traditionally been the ‘power house’ since it is said in State’s politics that the party that wins Mewar, comes extremely close to forming government.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi, will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone worth crores of rupees here. It is also believed that the reason behind this is that, in the Rajasthan Congress government, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has made many big announcements for Udaipur division.

Thus, On Monday morning, Modi will dedicate to the nation and lay the foundation stone for various development projects worth about `7,000 crore in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan among which are the Mehsana — Bathinda — Gurdaspur Gas Pipeline, LPG Plant of HPCL at Abu Road, Additional Storage at Ajmer Bottling Plant of IOCL, 4-lane road on NH-12 (New NH-52) on the Darah-Jhalawar-Teendhar section, foundation stone for constructing and widening Railway Over Bridge (ROB) from two lane to four lane in Sawai Madhopur, dedicate Chittorgarh - Neemuch Railway line and Kota – Chittorgarh Electrified Railway line while also dedicating tourism facilities developed at Nathdwara under Swadesh Darshan Scheme. Further, Prime Minister will also dedicate the permanent campus of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kota to the nation.

Coming, days after Amit Shah’s visit, PM Modi would be much more apprised about the political ground realities of the State since Shah did spend time with State leaders getting a clear picture of the party’s situation, challenges and what could be the tentative strategies.
