Minor murdered, burned in kiln; BJP fumes

Bhilwara: The horrific killing of a 14-year-old girl has sent shockwaves through Rajasthan. “After getting information, the police teams from four stations reached the spot and five accused were taken into custody,”, said SP Adarsh Sidhu adding that a girl child was murdered & burnt and probe is on.

The elder brother of the deceased said that at 8 am on Wednesday, her younger sister had left the house with goats. The goats returned home but the sister did not. Upon searching they saw a coal furnace burning in camp of Kalbeliyas outside the village.

The villagers caught some Kalbelias and handed them to the police. The arrested miscreants talked about gangrape and the subsequent burning of the girl. A FSL team examine the area on Thursday.

The Rajasthan BJP constituted a committee, which reached the spot and inquired the incident.
