Media’s positive spirit can aid in nation’s multidimensional development: GC Kataria
Udaipur: Continuing its social concern, the First India News on Friday, held ‘Mewar Gaurav Samman Season-2’ at Hotel Radisson Blu in Udaipur. Governor of Assam, Gulab Chand Kataria was the chief guest, while the CEO and Managing Editor of First India News, Pawan Arora presided over the event.
Kataria and Arora honoured 23 people for their exemplary service in various sectors increasing the pride of Mewar. Addressing the audience, Kataria praised the functioning of the First India News in the news as well as the social sector. Kataria thanked the First India News family for naming the felicitation ceremony as ‘Mewar Gaurav.’
“Pawan Arora played a big role in helping Rajasthan Housing Board, which had gone into the abyss, reach heights. He led the team, which was running RHB for many years, to accomplish excellent work,” Kataria said. He also thanked Pawan Arora for the recently constructed MLA residences and said that this work done by Arora will also remain immortal in the history of Rajasthan.
Kataria also highlighted the role of media in fulfilling such social concerns and said that if the media works with a positive spirit then no one can stop it from determining the condition of multidimensional development of this country.
Arora heartily welcomed the guests by bowing down to the land of Mewar. “Mewar Gaurav Samman is indeed a pride in itself. It is a social concern of First India. Honoring the people who do good work in their respective areas, is a symbol of efficiency, hard work, dedication, and honesty. First India will always respect the pride of Mewar in the future,” Arora said.
District Collector Arvind Poswal, Additional SP Anant Kumar, PCC Secretary Lal Singh Jhala, Deputy Mayor Paras Singhvi and Vice Chairman (MoS Status), Labour Advisory Board Jagdish Raj Shrimali, MLA Phool Singh Meena were present.
