Kataria performs Bhoomi Pujan
Udaipur: Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria performed the Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of a two-lane elevated road from City Station to the Collector’s residence in Udaipur on Monday.
The 2.75 km road, costing Rs 36.89 crore, aims to streamline city traffic and provide significant relief to the public. The project is expected to be completed within two years.
The ceremony was attended by dignitaries, including Rajya Sabha MP Chunnilal Garasia, Lok Sabha MP Mannalal Rawat, City MLA Tarachand Jain, Rural MLA Phoolsingh Meena, Mayor Govind Singh Tank, District Collector Arvind Poswal, and Municipal Commissioner Ramprakash, along with public representatives, administrative officials, intellectuals, and local residents.
The Assam Governor also paid tributes to Freedom Fighter Madan Mohan Somtia during his visit to Nathdwara.
He also visited Samore Bagh in Udaipur and paid tributes to late Mahendra Singh Mewar and offered his deep condolences to the former BJP MP’s family members.
