Kalisindh power plant’s 2nd unit to start in June

Jhalawar: The second unit of Kalisindh Thermal Power Plant in Jhalawar district is expected to be commissioned next month. The technical repair work of the unit is going on and a team of 27 people is engaged in this.

Jhalawar Kalisindh Thermal Power Plant has two units of 600 MW each and it generates a total of 2 lakh 88 thousand units of electricity.

The first unit generates 1 lakh 44 thousand units of electricity and has been running continuously while the second unit has been shut down since April 8.

Jhalawar's Kalisindh Thermal Power Plant generates maximum electricity. These days 90 thousand metric tonnes of coal is present in Jhalawar's Kalisindh Thermal Plant and the first unit is running smoothly
