Jyoti Nagar head constable nabbed while taking Rs 5,000

Jaipur: ACB’s Jaipur Rural unit on Wednesday caught Rajveer Singh, Head Constable posted at Jyoti Nagar police station, while receiving Rs 5,000 from the complainant. The bribe was sought and taken in lieu of helping in the complaint lodged against the complainant. The complaint was verified under supervision of DIG ACB Sawai Singh Godara and ASP Jaipur Rural Unit Ahad Khan. Under supervision of ADG ACB Dinesh MN, the residence and other places associated with the accused were being searched. It should be noted that the ACB is empowered to act against the state employees as well as the central govt employees in Rajasthan.
