Jilted lover attacks woman with acid in Alwar, probe on
Alwar: In a disturbing incident in Alwar, a young woman was attacked with acid by an obsessed suitor who had been persistently pressuring her for marriage and a relationship. The assailant, identified as Jinendra from Bayana village in Bharatpur, forcibly entered the woman’s home at night and threw acid on her while she was asleep.
The brutal attack resulted in severe burns, affecting 50% of the woman’s face. She is currently receiving treatment at Alwar District Hospital. The victim has filed a case at Kathumar police station, prompting a thorough police investigation. Authorities are actively working to apprehend the suspect. This horrific act highlights extreme dangers associated with obsessive and violent behavior following relationship rejections.
