I am contesting according to High Command’s wish, says Dhariwal
Kota: Congress candidate from Kota North, Shanti Dhariwal, reached the Collectorate on Monday morning and filed his nomination. Before filing nomination, Dhariwal offered prayers at the Ganesh temple located at Circuit House and thereafter filed his nomination around 11 o’clock. A huge rally was also organised after nomination from Nayapura Stadium to Collectorate.
After nomination, Dhariwal spoke to media & said that polls have started with Dev Darshan. “BJP’s Prahlad Gunjal won because of the Modi wave. At that time Narendra Modi had entered central politics. There was a wave of Modi in the entire nation. Gunjal’s victory wasn’t a victory. The actual competition takes place when the environment is neither against nor in favour,” Dhariwal said.
While speaking about the ‘doubt’ over his ticket, he said, “There were complaints against me in Delhi & I had clearly said to get them probed & if I am found innocent, then only give me a ticket. The High Command had refused to give tickets to leaders’ sons and only ordered me to contest.”
