Guv says make justice quick, accessible to common man

Jodhpur: Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra has called for making the process of getting justice quick, affordable and smoother by bringing the judiciary closer to the common man. He said that efforts should be made for judicial awareness.

Mishra said this during the inauguration of the first two-day regional conference of West Zone organised by the National Judicial Academy at Rajasthan State Judicial Academy Auditorium on “Contemporary Judicial Development and Strengthening Justice for Law and Technology” in Jodhpur on Saturday.

Chief Justice of Rajasthan Pankaj Mithal, Director of National Judicial Academy AP Sahi, High Court judges and judicial officers from Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat participated in the programme.

Addressing the judges, Mishra said that they are not only the main watchdogs of the judicial system but also of the laws related to the constitution. He called for strengthening the justice and legal system in the country.
