Govt schemes benefitted every section of society: CM

Alwar: CM Ashok Gehlot while addressing the statue unveiling ceremony of Late Bimla Devi and Late Lekhramji Thekedar at Kathuwas village of Kotputli-Behror district, said “Every section of the society has benefited from the policy decisions and public welfare schemes of the government. In the last five years, the state has made unprecedented progress in all sectors including economic, social, medical, education, health, infrastructure development,” He said that Late Bimla Devi and Lekhramji were popular among people due to their charitable works and their statues will always inspire youngsters.

Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Tikaram Jully said that the state government has given a great gift to the people of the area by making Kotputli-Behror area a district. Now the local people will not have to go far for their various works and the development of the area will happen at a faster pace, he said.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot further added saying, “They couldn’t get what they wanted, although they tried hard.
They engaged in horse trading. When they could not topple the government, they started attacking. The Enforcement Directorate has come, all the central ministers have been sent here. To counter them, I need the support of the general public. Every family is taking benefit of our public welfare schemes. They could not topple the government, this will make them sad for all their life. The High Command, Rahul ji and the public were with me, that is why the government did not fall.

“I appeal to you to keep your love and faith towards me, undeterred,” the Chief Minister told the masses at the venue.
