Global Marwadi Network: Uniting 160+ countries
Marwadis are amplifying Rajasthan’s pride globally, with representatives now in over 160 countries. Whether within India or abroad, the Marwadi community’s presence is significant. The Marwadi International Federation, established a year ago, has launched an online platform to consolidate these global connections.
In just nine months, this platform has welcomed 3,300 families from 31 countries including the US, Canada, Saudi Arabia, and 400 Indian cities. Specifically, 55 families from the UAE, 15 from Oman, 14 from the US, 8 from Canada, 6 from the UK, and 9 from Saudi Arabia have joined. Additionally, 302 individuals from Maharashtra, 162 from West Bengal, and 84 from Jharkhand and Assam are now part of this network. With a single click, users can access a comprehensive directory of Marwadis residing in any city or country.
The platform aims to enhance social connectivity, cultural exchange, and business collaboration among Marwadis globally. Marwadi entrepreneurs and professionals are thriving in both domestic and international markets, and this platform facilitates networking to bolster their collective success. Federation General Secretary CA Vijay Garg emphasized that the initiative strives to bring Marwadis living in diverse locations together for social and business engagement. “This platform allows anyone with business interests in a specific city to connect with relevant Marwadis effortlessly. Additionally, a dedicated Marwad matrimony website is available for social networking,” he explained. The organization plans to host various programs related to startups to engage and support youth employment and entrepreneurship among Marwadi worldwide.
National Convenor of the Marwadi Matrimony Website, Makhan Lal Kanda, highlighted that individuals from any Rajasthani community can submit their biodata for free, with over 700 documents received in just 15 days.
The ultimate goal, as stated by CA Vijay Garg, is to connect around 2 crore Marwadis, including 40 lakh living abroad, to this vibrant digital community.
