First priority should be the timely disposal of public grievances: CM

Jodhpur: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the first priority of the administration should be to ensure timely and quality disposal of the grievances of the common people. He instructed officials to work by adopting a policy of zero tolerance against corruption. Sharma said that surprise inspections should be conducted in offices from district level to gram panchayat level.

Sharma was addressing the meeting of divisional level officers in Jodhpur on Saturday. He said that to accelerate the development of the state, everyone will have to make collective efforts to fulfill the resolution of ‘Aapno Agrni Rajasthan’. The CM instructed officials to hold public hearings regularly and monitor it and take feedback. He also reviewed the status of electricity and drinking water supply, medical facilities, progress of Jal Jeevan Mission, Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra, law and order and other important points in the division.
