Exclusive interview with BJP State president CP Joshi: ‘...I will tie turban on our CM’

Jaipur: On Wednesday, BJP state president CP Joshi held massive meetings in Shrimadhopur and Udaipurwati and took part in saffron party’s roadshow as well. During this time, Joshi engaged in a special conversation with First India however, at the onset he avoided the question related to the main face among the various faces of the CM, but said that who may ever be the CM, he will get the first chance to make him wear a turban. “I will be the lucky person who would be first to tie the turban on our CM,” he said. Joshi described PM Modi’s road show as historical and said that PM Modi got tremendous response in the city. Meanwhile, attacking CM Gehlot and Congress, he said that state govt is under siege over farmer loan waiver issue including paper leak, corruption and rapes. CP Joshi claimed big victory in East Rajasthan and Shekhawati. On the question related to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Joshi said, “Birla is currently on a constitutional post but his service work during the Corona period was very good. Despite holding a constitutional post, he always made full efforts in the matters of development of Rajasthan.” On run for tickets, he replied, “All 200 tickets are of BJP.”
