Diya reviews development works during Ajmer visit
Ajmer: On Monday, Deputy CM Diya Kumari reviewed the implementation of budget announcements for Ajmer district. Secretary-in-Charge Naveen Jain briefed on the progress. Diya stresses that the government has considered the needs of all sectors in budget and is committed to timely execution. She directed the preparation of a proposal for an additional budget to relocate the TB hospital to the Women’s Hospital complex for super specialty services. Immediate work on connecting Bhadoon, Jakholaai, and Ujoli to the Nagaur border was instructed.
She also requested identifying encroachment-free land in front of MDS University for the Ayurveda, Yoga, and Natural Medicine University. She called for a DPR for the Brahma Temple Corridor, emphasising the preservation of original structures. Efforts to restore the Pushkar Fair’s spiritual identity were supported. Measures for flood drainage, regular cleaning of channels, and preparation for waterborne diseases were advised.
Diya participated in the Tiranga Yatra and paid tributes at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial, affirming the government’s commitment to ‘Antyodaya.’
