Diya Kumari rues lack of development in SWMR under Congress rule

Sawai Madhopur: Deputy CM Diya Kumari on Wednesday said that very good development work was done in Sawai Madhopur during the BJP govt’s rule five years ago but in the Congress rule in the last five years, the development work came to a standstill. She also participated in the virtual launching of PMSuraj National Portal by PM Modi from Rajiv Gandhi Regional Natural Science Museum of Sawai Madhopur.

During her visit to Sawai Madhopur, she said that the district has immense potential in terms of tourism.

he visited Trinetra Ganeshji temple and offered prayers. She also expressed dissatisfaction after taking stock of the facilities for people visiting the temple and said that the arrangements will have to be improved.

“Better facilities will have to be developed for the travelers coming to Trinetra Ganesh Ji,” she said. She also expressed disappointment during the inspection of Shilpgram and said that the condition of Shilpgram has become dilapidated.

The Dy CM also held a meeting with concerned officials in library of Rajiv Gandhi Regional Natural Science Museum regarding tourism.
