Dhankhars offer prayers at temples in Pushkar & Nagaur

Pushkar/Nagaur: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar offered prayers at Brahma temple in Pushkar town in Ajmer. Dhankhar along with his wife Sudesh Dhankhar reached Pushkar in a helicopter where they were received by Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) chairman Dharmendra Rathore, divisional commissioner and other officers.

From the helipad in mela ground, they reached the temple amid tight security arrangements and offered prayers. Dhankhar later reached the famous Tejaji temple in Kharnal in Nagaur and offered prayers to the folk deity Veer Tejaji. He later unveiled the statue of former Union Minister Late Nathuram Mirdha in Merta City.

He also took the progress report of the construction work of Veer Tejaji’s temple from the office bearers of the temple committee.

Former Union Minister CR Chaudhary, former Nagaur MP Jyoti Mirdha, former MLA Richpal Mirdha welcomed Dhankhar.

District Collector Piyush Samariya and SP Ramamurthy Joshi were present with him. After offering prayers at Kharnal, the V-P left for Merta.
