CURFEW EXTENDED TO MAY 10 MORNING

Jodhpur: Curfew was relaxed from 9 am to 5 pm and internet services were restored in riothit Jodhpur on Sunday. Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner issued an order extending curfew imposed for third time till 7 am on May 10. Now on Monday, there will be relaxation in curfew for 12 hrs, markets will be open from 7 am to 7 pm. Police are, however, on an alert to tackle any untoward incident.

Police Commissioner Navjyoti Gogoi is continuously monitoring situation. District Collector Himanshu Gupta is also taking feedback of every moment.

He said that after assessing situation here, a decision was taken to relax curfew after which only night curfew remain.

Internet services resumed in city after a week. Mobile internet service started after 135 hrs, due to disturbance. Internet facility was operational in broadband & leased lines.
