Constable Prahlad’s shooter caught in encounter in Dausa

Dausa: Thirty-six hours after the accused, Naveen Jat, who shot Dausa police constable Prahlad Singh in his head, was injured during an encounter with the police. Jat was brought to Dausa Hospital from where he was referred to Jaipur. IGP Umesh Dutt has been camping since Wednesday for this.

SP Vandita Rana did the recce of the fields and villages. Jat is a resident of the Saver police station area. IGP Umesh Dutt congratulated the team for nabbing the accused. Meanwhile, the jawans raised slogans of Rajasthan Police Zindabad.

About 800 police personnel were engaged in the search operation. The police traced the exact location of the accused. When the accused fired at the police, they retaliated & nabbed him.

However, an accomplice of the accused managed to flee. A search is on to nab him.
