‘Cong gaining public support by invoking ‘Hindu-Muslim’ issue’
Jaisalmer: Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday, attacked Congress unit in Raj, where polls are due later this year, saying the party is trying to gain support by invoking the ‘Hindu-Muslim’ issue and the ‘backward’. Singh flagged off the third ‘Parivartan Sankalp Yatra’ which will pass through 51 constituencies of Jodhpur, Ajmer and Nagaur districts in 18 days.
Training his guns on CM Gehlot, Singh said the Rajasthan CM is sitting in the driver’s seat but someone else is pressing the clutch and someone else the accelerator. He asserted that BJP’s victory is certain in Rajasthan. The Minister also highlighted the Centre’s achievements.
Meanwhile, BJP State President CP Joshi termed the Gehlot government ‘Mughaliya government’ and that it will soon be thrown out of power. Former CM and BJP leader Vasundhara Raje said, “This government is deaf and dumb and came into power on a bluff.”
Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said that people of Congress party sometimes deny the existence of Lord Ram, sometimes deny the existence of Ram Setu, sometimes create obstacles in the construction of Ram temple. “The morale of separatist forces has increased during the period of Congress government. This is the reason why Kanhaiyalal was murdered in Udaipur,” he said.
Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said that Congress spreads illusion that if BJP comes, it will end reservation. “BJP never talked about ending reservation.”
LoP Rajendra Rathore said that Jaisalmer is the land of patriots, but it is still occupied by one family.
