CM should either apologise or face disqualification: Shekhawat
Bikaner: Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Saturday said that his name is not mentioned in the Delhi police report submitted in the Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court in connection with defamation suit filed by him against Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. He said that the summon has been sent to Gehlot on the basis of this report.
“CM should appear in the court. The kind of language used is politically incorrect. CM now has only two options left, either he should apologize publicly or be ready to be disqualified, as his leader has been punished,” said Shekhawat.
Responding to the voice record, Shekhawat said that he has not received any letter from the bureau since 2020 till now. “There were two voices, of which MLA Bhanwarlal Sharma was seen having coffee with him a few days later. Second voice was of a person who minister and sits with him in the cabinet and his voice sample should have been taken,” Shekhawat added.
