CM Sharma plants peepal tree, launches drive on Hariyali Teej
Dudu: Over 2 crore saplings were planted during ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ drive across the state on Wednesday after CM Bhajan Lal Sharma officially inaugurated the program by planting a Peepal tree in the SDRF Campus of Village Gadota in Dudu dist on Hariyali Teej. Saplings planted under intensive tree plantation programme were geo-tagged under an innovation by downloading the “Hariyalo Rajasthan” app through QR code, APK, link and registering. Dept will keep an eye on plants by tracking them through geo-tagging. “We all should play an active role in this initiative, so that Hariyalo Rajasthan can be created,” said CM.
