CM Sharma fires fresh salvos at Congress

Jhunjhunu/Alwar/Tonk/Dausa: In a series of rallies held in Jhunjhunu, Ramgarh, Deoli-Uniyara and Dausa, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma urged voters to support BJP candidates in the upcoming Assembly byelections. The CM also emphasized the government’s achievements in water supply, job creation, and infrastructure development while sharply criticizing the Congress party for its historical neglect of these issues. Addressing the significance of the recent Yamuna water agreement with the Haryana government, Sharma declared it a landmark achievement that would enhance agricultural productivity in the Shekhawati region. He accused Congress leaders of misleading the public with false promises and asserted that their prior commitment to revoke this agreement shows their disregard for regional development.

Sharma announced the imminent launch of the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP), which aims to create a comprehensive water supply network for Eastern Rajasthan. He criticized Congress for delaying this vital initiative and assured that the BJP government is committed to ensuring a consistent water supply for both drinking & irrigation needs.
