CM pushes for major infra upgrades in Bharatpur
Bharatpur: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Friday reached Lohagarh Fort. He inquired about the development works of Kishori Mahal Plaza Development Work, Town Hall Development Work, Bihari Ji Parikrama Marg, Bihari Ji Park, Sujan Ganga and Lohagarh Fort and Ganga Temple. During this, he also discussed starting light and sound show on the ramparts of Kishori Mahal, Raja Khemkaran and Gokula Jat Panorama.
The Chief Minister reached Krishi Upaj Mandi and directed the officials to prepare a proper drainage system for permanent solution of the problem of water logging. During this, the officials explained in detail about the works of City Flood Control Drain (CFCD) and also gave information about the works of Girraj Canal RNFCFD, Master Drainage Project etc.
After this, the Chief Minister reached Hiradas Bus Stand in Bharatpur city and after observing the map of the proposed new bus stand, inquired about the progress of the development works and gave necessary instructions to the officials in this regard. During this, the Chief Minister took information about the construction works of the proposed flyovers from Hiradas to Kumher Gate and from Kali Baghi to RBM Hospital and directed the officials to start work on the DPR of these projects soon. Also, he reached Shastri Park and discussed about the locations of the proposed aquarium and biological park. “The state government is trying to ensure that no village, tehsil, subdivision and district of the state is deprived of development. In compliance with the budget announcements, various development works being carried out in Bharatpur will give it a new identity in the coming times,” he said.
