CM and Raj Ministers hail Modi Cabinet’s historic ‘One Nation, One Election’ decision
New Delhi: CM Bhajan Lal Sharma and Ministers from Rajasthan in the Union Council of Ministers have expressed their reactions to the decision taken by the Modi Cabinet regarding “One Nation, One Election.”
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma hailed the Union Cabinet’s approval of ‘One Nation, One Election’ as a landmark electoral reform. He stated it will strengthen democracy, reduce election costs, enhance transparency, and promote political stability and development.
Union Law and Justice Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, in his first reaction to the approval of the proposal, wrote on X that Prime Minister Modi did what he said. the Union Cabinet, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has taken a historic decision today by approving the proposal of “One Nation, One Election.” This decision, aimed at transforming the resolve of good governance and development into accomplishment, will reduce the election financial burden on the country and pave new paths for the creation of a “developed India.”
Union Minister for Railways, Information & Broadcasting, and IT Ashwini Vaishnaw provided detailed information about the cabinet decisions at the National Media Centre in New Delhi and answered questions from journalists.
Union Culture and Tourism Minister GS Shekhawat called the decision historic. Union Minister Bhupender Yadav noted that the Cabinet, led by PM Modi, accepted the High-Level Committee’s recommendations, stating that “One Nation, One Election” will ease financial strain and enhance governance.
