CJI Chandrachud stresses on use of local language in court orders
Bikaner: Our Constitution Our Honor program was organized at Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner. Along with this, the Justice Assistant Program was also started. On this occasion, CJI Dr DY Chandrachud said that Constitution tells us how the system of the country will run and also announced to start the facility of e-court in Bikaner.
On this occasion, the Union Law Minister, remembering the contribution of Maharaja Ganga Singh, described the CJI’s visit to Bikaner as very important. CJI Chandrachud said that mutual fraternity is important. “Promote fraternity and brotherhood in the country. Justice, equality and freedom are the sense organs in our Constitution. Constitution is the document which tells on what values the country will run. It is a symbol of the collective aspirations of the citizens of India and the struggle of the freedom fighters,” he said and also stressed that our decisions should be in the local language so that common citizens can understand.
“The Supreme Court is situated in Tilak Nagar in Delhi, it does not mean that it is Supreme Court of Tilak Nagar only. Similarly, High Court does not mean Jodhpur Jaipur but the HC of entire state,” he said. On this occasion, when CJI announced the e-court, advocates stood up and greeted the CJI.
Meanwhile, as a strong support to Nari-Bhagidari campaign, a special women’s edition of ‘Beneficiaries’ Voices’ was released containing 75 powerful stories of legal action and empowerment by women beneficiaries under the Tele Law program. CJ of Raj HC MM Srivastava, Justice Secy(GoI) SKG Rahate, MLA Jethanand Vyas, and other advocates, judges were present.
