Chalo Kamal Khilayen: Modi
Udaipur: Addressing the first public meeting after the code of conduct for Rajasthan Assembly elections came into force, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday fiercely attacked the Congress government on corruption, law and order and crimes against women.
Modi said that when it comes to crimes against women, Congress ministers call Rajasthan a man’s state. “Congress people should drown and die. This Congress government has crossed the limits of corruption. We promise that we will not spare not only the big fish who loot the public but also the crocodiles,” he said while addressing a public meeting held in Krishi Mandi.
Starting his address with the slogans of Bharat Mata ki Jai and Eklingnath ji ki jai, Modi said, “This is the land of Panna Dhay, who sacrificed her own child. This place is identified with Meera Bai. This land teaches to perform duty. I pay my utmost respect to this holy land of Mewar.”
Modi said that under the Congress government, incidents that shame humanity are happening with the people of Rajasthan. “The terrorist incident with Kanhaiyalal in Udaipur is a big stain on the Rajasthan government.
This incident happened because there is a Congress govt which sympathizes with terrorists. Congress has insulted not only the women of Rajasthan but also the men, because the men here are willing to sacrifice their lives for their sisters and daughters. No student feels safe after leaving home. Atrocities against sisters and daughters will stop only when Congress leaves the place. This is Modi’s guarantee that every sister and daughter will get a safe environment and respect under BJP rule,” Modi said.
The PM mocked the Gehlot govt saying, “Cong govt remained entangled for five years as to who will sit on the chair now? Who will pull up the chair? Congress didn’t care about public issues & did nothing for poor, Dalits and deprived people of Raj. Now that elections have come, it has come with false promises.”
“If the BJP government comes, strictest action will be taken against every corrupt person. Those who have looted Rajasthan will have to return it. I am fighting against corruption,” the Prime Minister said.
