Case against 73 fake camp resorts for running illegally
Jaisalmer: The Jaisalmer police have registered a case against 73 fake camp resorts operating in the Sam area.
The camps are being run illegally by creating fake IDs online.
The fraudsters have created dozens of fake IDs on various websites, including Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, Goibibo & Agoda. Police have made a list of these fake camps.
A case has been registered by Sam Camp and Resort Welfare Society.
Meanwhile, several tourists have been cheated by booking in these fake camps.
Superintendent of Police Sudhir Chaudhary has written a letter to all website companies that the fake camps should be removed from their portals. Police are investigating the fake camps.
