BJP leaders raise questions on Congress rule in the State
Nagaur/Ajmer: Senior BJP leader and in charge for Rajasthan Arun Singh questioned high fuel prices in Rajasthan compared to neighboring states.
Addressing a public meeting in Merta during the party’s Parivartan Sankalp Yatra, he said that petrol pump operators in the state were on strike against high VAT on fuel in the state. He asked why the VAT was high in Congress ruled Rajasthan as compared to other states.
Singh said that the state government failed to fulfill promises.
Meanwhile, Deputy Leader of Opposition Satish Poonia on Fridays stated that Sachin Pilot would have been the Chief Minister if there had been no factionalism within the Congress.
He criticized CM Ashok Gehlot, alleging that his focus had been on maintaining his position rather than resolving the issues of people.
