Bhinmal delegation meets CM with demand of new district

Bhinmal: The District Coordination Committee met Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma in Jaipur to submit a memorandum demanding the establishment of Bhinmal as a new district. Former MLA Puraram Choudhary stated that they also requested the re-inclusion of Bagoda into Jalore district, removing it from Sanchore district. Chief Minister Sharma listened attentively and assured the delegation that the current government would rectify the injustices done by the previous administration.

He emphasized that the government would make a fair and beneficial decision in the best interest of the public. The CM assured that the government would seriously consider the aspirations and expectations of the people. Choudhary highlighted that the demand for Bhinmal to be made a district has been ongoing since 1992.

Notably, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma has formed a committee led by former IAS officer Lalit K. Panwar to review creation of new districts in the state. The committee will submit a detailed report to the cabinet sub-committee for further review and policy recommendations.
