Beniwal assault case: Choudhary refutes claims

Barmer: In a three-yearold assault case, in which a mob had attacked Nagaur MP and RLP leader Hanuman Beniwal and Union Minister Kailash Chaudhary, Baytu police in Barmer have booked former revenue Minister Harish Choudhary and around hundred others. The action has been recommended by Lok Sabha’s privileges committee. The development has also sparked political reactions. Harish Chaudhary, while refuting all the allegations said, “The matter had already been probed by the police and he wondered on which ground and under which provisions Lok Sabha’s privileges committee had recommended the action. It looks like that it is nothing less than propaganda.”
