Bengaluru robbery: 4 held after encounter in Chittor
Chittorgarh: Four accused from Rajasthan, who fled after robbing a jeweller in Bengaluru were caught by the police in Chittorgarh after an encounter. As per reports, the robbers opened fire on the police for three kilometres. After the accident of their vehicle, the police were successful in nabbing them. The police also recovered jewellery worth about Rs 2 crores from the robbers. According to the police, five miscreants had robbed 3 kg 900 grams of gold and 13 kg 640 grams of silver from Ramdev Jewellers in Bengaluru on July 4. The cost of the jewellery is estimated at around Rs 3 crore. Since the incident, they were on the radar of the Bangalore police. The police kept tracing their location from the details received through FASTag. At the same time, after the information about the robbers entering the Rajasthan border on Wednesday, IPS Dinesh MN instructed the Udaipur Police to form teams. The location of the robbers was found from Udaipur to Neemuch. When the police team reached Neemuch, the robbers reached Begun (Chittorgarh).
