Barmer visit successful after meeting Guruji: CM

Jaisalmer/Barmer: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma’s helicopter made an emergency landing due to a technical glitch while going from Jaisalmer to Barmer on Monday. After the pilot made a safe landing, the CM had to alight and wait at the civil airport lounge for about 3 hours. Later he left for Barmer by chartered plane at 5 pm. Due to a malfunction in helicopter, his meeting which was to be held in Saundri area of Barmer also had to be cancelled. In this context, CM Bhajan Lal reached Jaisalmer from Bikaner at 12:00 on Sunday night on 2-day visit. The CM also held discussion with current MP and candidate Kailash Choudhary. In the CM’s meeting, the stepmotherly treatment given by the MP to Jaisalmer in the last 5 years was discussed in a hushed voice. At Barmer, CM Sharma and Pandit Dhirendra Shastri were given a huge welcome. During this, CM Sharma had also addressed the crowd and said, “My coming to Barmer was successful after Guruji’s darshan.” Notably a huge crowd gathered to see Bageshwar Dham baba.
