ASI in ACB net for taking Rs 10K; BJP Dausa ex-prez gets relief

Bharatpur: ACB Bharatpur unit on the instruction of headquarter arrested Amirchand, Assistant Sub-Inspector, Police Station Uchain, district Bharatpur, while taking a bribe of Rs 10,000 from the complainant on Thursday.

Hemant Priyadarshy, the Director (Additional Charge) of the ACB, stated that a complaint was filed at the Bharatpur unit of ACB, alleging that Amirchand was demanding a bribe of Rs 11,000 in connection with a pending case.

After verifying the complaint, a trap was laid and Amirchand was arrested. During the verification of the complaint, a bribe of Rs 1,000 had already been taken from the complainant.

BJP’S RATAN TIWARI ACQUITTED FROM ACB COURT - Laxmikant Sharma

Dausa: Former BJP district president of Dausa Ratan Tiwari has been acquitted in a case of graft after ACB filed FIR in case. The court accepted the FR. An FIR against Tiwari was registered for alleged corruption regarding NOC for nursing college. The case was registered against 50 institutions. Only Tiwari’s institution did not get a clean chit and Tiwari had to go underground due to fear of arrest. Against this FIR, he approached High Court, but could not get relief here. Against the order of HC, he approached the Supreme court but the apex court upheld the decision. However, ACB submitted FR in the case due to lack of evidence which was accepted by ACB court.
