Another suicide by NEET aspirant shocks Kota

Kota: Kota was rocked by another suicide within three days. A student preparing for NEET committed suicide by hanging herself. She was from Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh, and had come to Kota only six months ago. She was a student of Physics Wala Coaching Center. Her body was found in a private hostel in the Mahavir Nagar area postmidnight on Wednesday.

On November 27, a student from West Bengal, preparing for NEET, committed suicide. So far this year, 26 students have committed suicide in Kota.

Nisha Yadav (21) had talked to her father shortly before ending her life. Her father called her up again but when she did not receive the call. After that, the hostel owner was informed.

Director Shyam Peshwani said that when the door of her room was opened, she was found hanging from the ceiling fan. Jawahar Nagar police station ASI Kundan Kumar said that the reason for suicide is not known. The postmortem was done at MBS Hospital on Thursday. Nisha’s father, Osan Singh and mother, Saroj Devi, reached Kota.

District Collector Mahavir Prasad Meena has sent a notice to the coaching institute in connection with the suicide of two students in just 3 days.
