Amit Shah slams Congress while highlighting BJP’s achievements
Bhilwara/Kota: Union Home Min Amit Shah while extending his campaign extensively in support of BJP candidates in Rajasthan reached Bhilwara and Kota on Saturday. While attacking Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Gandhi, Shah said that Priyanka Gandhi has gone to Thailand on holiday during ongoing elections, whereas Rahul Gandhi goes abroad after every 3 months but PM Modi is the one who does not take leave even on Diwali, he said.
Opening verbal spat at Congress National Prez Kharge, he said that Kharge questions what do the people of Rajasthan have to do with Kashmir. “Kharge Saheb, don’t you know that so many people from Rajasthan have gone to army and the mothers of Rajasthan have sacrificed their sons for Kashmir. The Congress party kept stalling, postponing and diverting the issue of Ram Mandir. You made Modi the PM for second time and built Ram Mandir after the court’s decision. At the time of consecration of Ram temple, the Trust sent an invitation to Congress leaders, but the Congress did not go to see Ramlala due to the greed of its vote bank. The people of country will never forgive those who do not visit Ramlala due to vote bank greed,” he said.
Addressing the Vijay Sankalp Mahasammelan organized at CAD Ground in Kota, Amit Shah said that Congress is stunned to see the public support the BJP is getting.
Shah said that we have had absolute majority for the last ten years, but we never even thought of ending reservation.
“When Congress had absolute majority, they imposed emergency in the country. But when BJP got full majority, we abolished Article 370, built Ram Temple, brought CAA to give citizenship to Hindu-Sikh-Buddhist refugees, gave 33 percent reservation to women in Lok Sabha and Legislative Assemblies,” he said.
This time from Bhilwara Lok Sabha seat, BJP has cancelled ticket of sitting MP Subhash Bahedia and made BJP State General Secretary Damodar Agarwal its candidate. An election public meeting was organized in Shakargarh town of Shahpura district in support of BJP candidate Damodar Agarwal.
