Amin Pathan held for obstructing govt official
Kota: Congress leader Amin Pathan has been arrested by Kota Police on the charges of obstructing public servant in discharge of public duty. The Anantpura Police in Kota arrested Pathan on Sunday for allegedly using abusive language and obstructing government work. He was presented in the court at 5 p.m., where court remanded him to judicial custody. The incident was reported to the forest department officials by Pathan’s altercation with team.
Following his arrest, Pathan stated that the action was a result of political vendetta. He expressed confidence that the public would respond to the government’s actions in the upcoming elections. Disgruntled after not receiving a ticket in the assembly elections, Pathan had joined the Congress four months ago.
