ACB traps head constables in Ajmer, Dausa with bribe
Ajmer/Dausa: The ACB arrested Srinagar police station head constable Jaipal Singh red-handed with a bribe of Rs 5,000 in police station premises on Wednesday. The head constable had demanded a bribe of Rs 10,000 from the complainant by threatening to take action and arrest him for breach of peace, said ADG ACB Hemant Priyadarshy. The complaint was given in Ajmer post.
Under the supervision of ACB DIG Ajmer, Randhir Singh, ASP Atul Sahu and Inspector Naresh Chauhan took action.
In Dausa, ACB team has trapped the head constable of Lalsot police station & broker with bribe. Both the accused had demanded bribe in lieu of proper investigation in the case registered against the complainant.
Dausa ACB ASP Mahendra Sharma said that the victim had lodged a complaint that Head Constable Premraj demanded a bribe of Rs 5,000 for proper investigation in case. On which the ACB got the verification done. The accused took a bribe of Rs 1,000 during the verification itself. After this, on Wednesday, the head constable Premraj and his tout Bharat Lal Saini took a bribe of Rs 4,000 from victim and were nabbed.
