ACB nabs ASI in Tonk with Rs 2K bribe, Head constable in Udaipur for Rs 10K
Tonk/Udaipur: The Anti-Corruption Bureau team, while carrying out an action, has arrested an ASI red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs 2,000. While giving information about the action, Tonk ACB Additional Superintendent of Police, Rajesh Arya said that a complainant was lodged against ASI Ramlal posted at Aligarh police station, who was demanding bribe from comlainant’s brother-in-law. Ramlal was demanding bribe to quickly present the challan of a case registered against the complainant’s relative in the court. After verification of the complaint, Tonk ACB has arrested the accused ASI Ramlal redhanded while taking a bribe of Rs 2,000.
ASP Rajesh Arya also told that search operation is being conducted by ACB teams at other locations including the residence of arrested ASI Ramlal in Piplu and Tonk Cantonment area.
In Udaipur, the ACB nabbed a Head Constable Kamal Singh, posted at Police Station Pahada, while accepting bribe of Rs 10,000 for not implicating the complainant in a case of eloping with a woman. The accused had demanded Rs 50,000.
