ABDUCTORS NAME LAWRENCE GANG, SEEK Rs 1.5 CR RANSOM, 1 DETAINED

Khinvsar: A businessman was kidnapped in Nagaur on Sunday afternoon but he was released after one and a half hours after demanding a ransom of Rs 1.5 crore. The miscreants abducted the businessman Kamal Kishore Chandak (65) along with his driver in his car. However, due to the fear of the police, they released him after about one and a half hours nearly 5 kilometers away. They also abandoned the car. The miscreants demanded a ransom of Rs 1.5 crore from the businessman. They also threatened to hand over the businessmen to Lawrence Gang.

Police said that Kamal Kishore, who has a cycle showroom and business of firecrackers, had gone to his under construction warehouse in Prem Nagar on national highway 62 under Khinvsar police station. The miscreants abducted him from there in his car. They kept on roaming and demanded Rs 1.5 lakh. When the miscreants came to know that police were chasing them, they abandoned the business, his driver and the car. The Khinvsar police later detained the main accused Ajay Siyag, who has a pipe factory in Rooprajat area. He has been accused of being involved in a case of firing in the past. Other accused are also being searched. Kamal Kishore Chandak has been the former treasurer of Pushkar Seva Sadan. He is a major property dealer in the area.
