3 tribal girls of Banswara given training of nun in MP
Banswara: In a case of religious conversion, three tribal girls from Rajasthan’s Banswara district were allegedly given training of nun in Jhabua district of neighbouring state Madhya Pradesh.
The matter came to light in an inquiry by the state commission for women in Madhya Pradesh. The girls were detained. Two of them are minor. A team of MP Commission for Women went to a catholic hostel in a matter of molestation during which three girls from Rajasthan were found. The girls were living there without registration and they were given training to become nun as per the Christian norms and traditions.
Jhabua Child Welfare Committee chairman Pradeep Jain said that the team went to Sneh Sadan tribal girls hostel in Mission school premises where the team spotted the girls, who were living there for the last two months. Pradeep Jain said that when parents were enquired, they informed that they sent the girls for there for study.
