13 students of Churu Govt Med College suspended for ragging
Churu: Following a complaint of ragging in the Government Medical College in Churu, 13 students have been suspended for 15 days and a fine of Rs 25,000 each has been imposed on them. Principal of the college, Dr Shashikant Aggarwal said that the Committee established in the college had received the complaint on October 13. Students of the 2022 batch ragged their juniors. They had even cut the hair of some junior students.
The committee sent its recommendation to the principal. The students have been suspended from October 17 to 31. The fine has to be deposited within 10 days.
