Kanjilal’s Views

Kanjilal is the CEO and Director of "Educare The Institute," a mentoring institution in which he has counselled hundreds of students during the last two decades. His philosophy challenges conventional, stereotypical approaches to education in schools. He ran down the conventional curriculum at an ED TALK interview, stating that marks and scorecards do not reflect a student's intellectual abilities. He rather laid stress on innovation skills-oriented and creative teaching methodology. Not only that, he also advocates well-evidenced training in skills for teachers, abolition of compulsive education and reducing excessive pressure of exams. His opinion regarding education is to engage students in exploring the possibility within them beyond the measured analysed metrics and all-around development.

Through his work, Anish Kanjilal aspires and inspires all—educationists and learners—to challenge the status quo and advance education as far forward as possible in terms of progressiveness and inclusivity.
