POLO IN THE PINK CITY

The finals of the Leela Sawai Man Singh Polo Cup was organised with great fanfare at the Rajasthan Polo ground on Sunday. The match was played between The Leela Polo Team and Chandna Carysil. Owing to unexpected rain, only two chukkers could be played and the match was a draw with the teams scoring two goals each. For the Leela Polo Team, the goals were scored by Padmanabh Singh and Abhimanyu Pathak. For Carysil Chandna, both goals were scored by Ashok Chandna. The match began with a grand procession in which the COO of the Leela Palace Hotels Resorts, Anuraag Bhatnagar accompanied Narendra Singh on the horse carriage. In the vintage car were seated Chief Brand Officer, Anjali Mehra and General Manager, the Leela Palace, Jaipur, Chandrashekhar Joshi. Jagdeesh Chandra graced the occasion with his presence and motivated the players with his encouraging words. Present on the occasion were eminent writer, Shobhaa De and film personalities like Eli Avrram, Kajal Aggarwal, fashion designer, Pria Kataaria Puri and Gauravi Kumari, among others.
