CREATION: REBELLION OF PERCEPTION!

Garments themed and designed on Azure Hues, Oceanic Splendor, Beatnik Brilliance, Divine Chronicles, Stippled Visions, Retro Revival, Svelte Silhouettes, Sylvan Bellissima, and Folk Couture captivated entire crowd of spectators as 44 beautiful and stunning models step up on the beautifully decorated ramp with mesmerizing backdrops at Creations 2023. The 12th Fashion show of IIS (deemed to be University) - CREATIONS 2023 was held on February 24 at IISU back lawns by the Department of Fashion and Textiles of IIS University. Jagdeesh Chandra along with Rajiv Arora, Chairman of Raj Small Industries Corporation graced the occasion and motivated the participants with their encouraging words. Municipal commissioner Surat, Shalini Agarwal also graced the occasion and motivated her with her valuable words. Dr Raakhi Gupta, Registrar of the IIS University was also present as the special guest. Around 43 talented young designers from the Department displayed their bright, entertaining and well-crafted work that depicts the fashion and culture of our society. Creation 2023 has always been a platform to not only boost the morale of young designers but also prepare them to showcase their talent on bigger platforms in future endeavours. In the same episode, Creations 2023 also announced the IISU’s design studio. The young and talented designers of IIS University showcased their astonishing collections depicting Indian art and culture through Indo-Westerns casuals, Street Wear and Formal Western outfits in their finest form. The judges Kshipra Goyal (Founder Chrysalis, Jaipur) and Sadhna Garg (Founder Raasika, Jaipur) appreciated the work of the designers and blessed them to be a part of the mainstream fashion industry. Creations 2023 was choreographed by David. The best collections were rewarded with awards including Azure Hues bagged the title whereas Retro Revival and Beatnik Brilliance were awarded second and special jury awards respectively.
