Water Resources Dept to work in mission mode for 1 month

Jaipur: The Department of Water Resources will work in mission mode for a month. Preparation for the pre-monsoon season has commenced with maintenance work on over 100 major dams in the state.

ACS Water Resources, Abhay Kumar, has directed officials to ensure no negligence in any improvement work including gate maintenance. What’s noteworthy is that a report on maintenance of major dams will be prepared and uploaded to the Central Water Commission’s website, ensuring transparency in the state’s dam maintenance efforts. The maintenance work of the dams must be completed before June 15.

In addition to the PKCERCP project for drinking water management, the Bhajan Lal govt has initiated work on providing water from Yamuna to Shekhawati.
