‘Unity is strength,’ says Shekhawat, slams Congress
Sri Ganganagar/Jaipur: Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat after his UK-Brazil visit reached Sriganganagar on Tuesday. He went to residence of former minister late Gurjant Singh Barar & paid his tributes. He expressed his condolences to MLA Sadulshahar Gurveer Barar, the grandson of late Gurjant Singh. In the afternoon he reached Jaipur. Talking to media at the Jaipur airport, Shekhawat counterattacked on the statement of AICC president Malikarjun Kharge and said that Congress has always practiced divisive politics. They divided on the basis of religion, divided in the name of rich and poor, divided on the basis of caste. Shekhawat in support of the slogan ‘batenge to katenge’ (If divided, we will be weakened) said it is written in our ancient tales as well that Unity is Strength.
Shekhawat in regard to by-elections in Rajasthan claimed, “In the by-elections in Rajasthan, we will definitely win. We will win all seven seats.”
He also attended the Ram Katha at Vidhyadhar Nagar and sought blessings of Jagatguru Rambhadracharya. On this occasion Rambhadrascharya said, “I am not political, but with the Ram oriented govt.”
