Trying to appease disgruntled leaders with caste equation
Jaipur: On Saturday, just hours before announcement of Lok Sabha poll dates, the Bhajan Lal govt made several political appointments. These appointments made before LS polls are also being seen as an attempt to solve caste equations & to appease leaders who are angry over the denial of MP ticket. At the same time, CM has tried to maintain hope among other leaders of party that if they never get a ticket, it doesn’t matter, they don’t get reward
Those who have got political appointment include Jaswant Vishnoi, a twotime MP from Jodhpur, who didn’t get ticket from BJP for LS polls. Vishnoi had expressed his displeasure on social media. But now he has been made chairman of Animal Welfare Board. At the same time, BJP has strengthened its fortification by making CR Chaudhary, who was MP from Nagaur, the Chairman of Farmers Commission. Last time, Choudhary did not get the ticket due to the seat going to RLP in agreement, whereas this time BJP has given ticket to Jyoti Mirdha who came from Congress. Apart from this, Prem Singh Bajor, considered a powerful Rajput leader of Shekhawati, has been made chairman of state Sainik Welfare Committee. Similarly, an attempt has been made to help Dalit class by making Rajendra Nayak the Chairman of State Scheduled Caste Finance and Development Commission.
A message has been given to entire OBC community along with Gurjars by making OP Bhadana chairman of Devnarayan Board, Prahlad Tank as the chairman of Mati Kala Board and Ram Gopal Suthar as the chairman of Vishwakarma Skill Development Board.
