Tiger cub dies at Nahargarh Park
Jaipur: Nahargarh Biological Park witnessed a tragic event with the death of one of the three cubs born to tigress Rani. On May 10, Rani gave birth to two golden cubs and one white cub. Unfortunately, one of the golden cubs, born as the third in the litter, died at 21 days old.
Initially, the cause of death was reported as a heart attack, but experts found it hard to comprehend how a 21-day-old cub could suffer cardiac arrest. Upon further investigation, it was determined that extreme heat and mismanagement were likely contributors to the cub’s demise. Both DCF Jagdish Gupta and Ranger Jagdish Sharma were present at the scene, overseeing the situation. The incident has raised concerns about the management practices and conditions at the park, emphasizing the need for better care and preventive measures to protect the young and vulnerable animals.
