Third Tiger safari for Bundi’s RVTR soon
Jaipur: The State is going to have a third tiger safari at Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve (RVTR). Forest Minister Hemaram Choudhary will inaugurate it on June 18 or 19.
So far half a dozen tourist vehicles have been registered for the safari.
The safari will start on the buffer route of Ramgarh Vishdhari, said an official on Monday. The safari will be on the buffer route from Dalelpura to Jarpeer and Jait Sagar. At present there are hundreds of wild animals in the Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve including a couple of tigers.
Earlier, a proposal to open seven new routes for tiger safari in Ramgarh Vishdhari was sent to the forest department last year. Three routes were to be opened in the buffer zone, while four in the core area.
