THE NITTY-GRITTIES OF IAS-IPS OFFICERS’ TRANSFER LIST!
Jaipur: Another transfer list of IAS shuffling 22 IAS, with some amendments to the previous list, was released on Sunday and some political adjustments is being seen in the new list. What was being said earlier has come true as Bhawani Detha did not move to Ajmer. Rather he has been kept at Jaipur in a relatively smaller department like Ayurveda.
Interestingly, since the minister did not relieve him, Ashish Modi’s transfer was cancelled and he has now remained entrenched in Bikaner in the post of Director of Education. Moreover, Hari Mohan Meena and Peeyush Samariya have been pacified by handing them over new posts.
Medical and Medical Education have once again been handed over to different secretaries, with Ambrish Kumar being handed Medical Education, which was handled by Gayatri Rathore. This posting is shocking and a matter of concern because Ambrish returned only on 19 September after being on deputation in Isha (Tamil Nadu) for four years. He has been isolated from the ‘mainstream line’ for a long time. In such a situation, immediately deputing him two days after his return and entrusting him with the important responsibility of Medical Education is beyond comprehension.
Om Prakash Kasera’s removal from Jodhpur Discom was certain but in return, making him MD of two energy corporations simultaneously is also a matter of discussion. It is the fourth time in the current government Shubham Chowdhary has been transferred. But the interesting thing is that every time he was transferred, he was made a district collector. He served in Kotputli-Behror for 5 months, in Sirohi for 8 months, in Rajsamand for 13 days, and now has been posted in Sawai Madhopur. But people are searching for the reason for Khushal Yadav’s transfer from the post of Collector- Sawai Madhopur only after eight months.
Abhishek Surana was doing good work in Jaipur Heritage Municipal Corporation, but word is that a ‘clash’ with a local MLA has become the reason for his transfer. Abhishek has received a significant promotion, being entrusted with the reins of the important district of Churu, which is a matter of pride for him as a first-timer. Pukhraj Sen, removed as Alwar Collector after just 5 months, has been appointed Collector of Deedwana-Kuchaman district. Previously, he was made MD of JCTL, but this new role is a smaller responsibility following a recent amendment made in just 15 days.
Mahendra Singh Khadgawat’s appointment as Beawar Collector has sparked discussion, & it remains to be seen how effectively he will handle this role. Arun Kumar Hasija, with 26 years of govt experience, has been appointed Commissioner of JMCH, raising high expectations due to his expertise in urban administration. The position of JCTL’s MD remains vacant, further complicating Jaipur’s already struggling city transport system, highlighting a serious oversight by the DoP.
